A 15 percent tax credit can be claimed on home renovation expenditures over $1,000 and under $10,000. That means there is a $1,000 deductible, and the maximum tax credit is $1,350.

As of March 31, 2010, the ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program is no longer accepting bookings for pre-retrofit evaluations. The program will continue to be administered until March 31, 2011. Click here for details.
